Veolia’s Pat Gilroy recognised by Ireland CEO100 listing

Veolia Ireland’s Country Director Pat Gilroy, has been nominated to join the CEO100 group that represents the most influential business leaders in Ireland.

Recommended by other business leaders in Ireland, the CEO100 group covers a broad spectrum of national and international businesses and recognises outstanding business leadership and performance.

Run by the Business and Finance magazine in Ireland the listing looks to highlight the success of emerging enterprises and the longevity of well established firms. Its aim is to demonstrate Ireland’s CEOs and the companies they lead are displaying top level innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit. During the last five years, the CEOs of Irish businesses have led their organisations successfully through one of the worst economic downturns in Irish history. 

Through his leadership, Pat Gilroy has enabled Veolia in Ireland to provide an integrated range of sustainable energy, waste and water services. Recent successes include the agreement to manage Ireland’s largest biomass power plant in Mayo that will deliver renewable electricity and heat and help mitigate climate change.
