Established in 2010 by Business in the Community Ireland, the Business Working Responsibly Mark (‘the Mark’) is Ireland’s **Economic, Environmental, Social, and Governance** (EESG) standard. Independently verified by the National Standards Authority of Ireland, it is the standard for sustainability that goes beyond legal compliance by fostering a culture of responsible business through continuous improvement, ongoing accountability, and leadership. Achieving the Mark successfully hinges on Veolia's commitment to: - Economic Impact: Creating a positive and sustainable economic footprint - Environmental Impact: Responsibly managing total environmental footprint across all operations and throughout the value chain - Social Engagement: Engaging effectively with key social stakeholders - Governance: Implementing robust governance procedures **Decision making based on Multifaceted Performance** Veolia is committed to giving the same level of attention to its financial and non-financial performance dimensions. Veolia is a founding member of the Association with Veolia’s representative serving as Vice Chair. Once again, Veolia’s operations in Northern Ireland are included in the scope of the certification.
