Following her christening in Brittany in July, the Veolia Environnement set sail on her maiden voyage arriving into Dún Laoghaire harbour late on 2nd August. Staff and guests of Veolia in Ireland had the opportunity to hop aboard for a visit and some even sailed alongside her skipper Roland Jourdain and his crew, ahead of its first test, the Fastnet Race mid August.
