Occupational Health & Safety and the Future of Work

Veolia partners with the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce

Veolia and the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce join forces to present a webinar on the importance of occupation health and safety as working practices change.

This webinar discussed the importance of occupational health and safety compliance for companies as we move towards ever increasing levels of remote working.  The traditional ways of keeping employees and organisations safe are not as relevant as they once were.

Facilitated by Aine Murray, Head of Marketing, Communications, CR and Bid Support for Veolia in Ireland, the panel included:

  • Tom Beegan, former CEO of HSA
  • Bairbre Berry, Head of Human Resources at Crédit Agricole Assurances
  • Deirdre Cronnelly CEO & Founder of AFRESH
  • Andre Hickey, Veolia Ireland Country Head Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental

The key message delivered by the panel is the importance of connecting fully with your people and your teams. It is critical to find the right balance between the risk and compliance side of health and safety and the behavioural side. Focus on the human aspect, making sure your behaviour matches your words.

As the ways we work continue to change a good health and safety culture is even more important than ever
