Veolia is celebrating International Women’s Day 2024

Changing perceptions of our industry to be more inclusive for women.

At the core of our mission and ambitions lies our workforce, standing at the forefront of everything we do. It is our employees who will enable us to achieve our purpose of ecological transformation, and we are committed to ensuring they are in an environment in which they can succeed. That’s why we emphasise the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Having a truly inclusive culture is about embracing and celebrating our differences and giving everyone opportunities in an environment where everyone feels respected, has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to thrive.

A key part of that is improving our gender balance to encourage more women to work in what is a traditionally male dominated sector. To address this challenge we have ongoing initiatives to encourage females to consider working in technical roles in Veolia.

And International Women’s Day 2024 is the perfect time to celebrate what we have achieved, discuss the challenges that still exist and continue to inspire inclusion for more women in our teams.

Some highlights from 2023
